Beacon enters into an agreement with KEMA Partners LLC, a FINRA/SIPC member and SEC registered broker-dealer, to gain access to the US market.

Los Angeles, California, October 11, 2022 – Beacon Mergers & Acquisition (“Beacon”) is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement with US-based M&A Advisor KEMA Partners LLC (“KEMA”). Cary Hurwitz will be leading the effort for KEMA to provide investment banking services to clients across the United States.

“This partnership is another milestone in establishing the Beacon brand as a truly global one and focusing on servicing clients across North America seamlessly and efficiently,” says Managing Partner Alex Shteriev.

Cary will serve as Beacon’s US partner, servicing clients in California and across the United States. Cary will leverage Beacon’s 15-year track record, its staff, network, and back-office support, which is at the heart of the value-added proposition in this service and geographic expansion.

Will Fischtein, the Managing Partner at Beacon Mergers & Acquisitions, commented on the expansion, “We’re delighted to have Mr. Hurwitz collaborate with us in California and across the United States. I have known Cary for many years, and his depth of knowledge and experience in US-based M&A transactions will be a great addition to the Beacon platform”.

Mr. Hurwitz is the founder and Managing Director of WestCape Advisors, a Los Angeles-based corporate advisory firm. Before WestCape, he was the Managing Director of Investment Banking at MDB Capital Group, a boutique investment bank focusing on companies with transformative technologies and extensive intellectual property assets. Over his six years with MDB, Cary managed a wide range of private and public financings, including initial public offerings, private placements, and bridge financings. He also guided clients through complicated restructurings and other merger and acquisition activities.

Having advised on M&A and growth capital financings totalling over $500 million in successfully completed transactions, Cary is now partnering with Beacon to offer the best quality sell-side advisory services to small and medium-sized firms in the United States with Beacon’s track record of success both in Canada and internationally.
