Beacon Advisors is proud to announce the appointment of Yossi Ben-Dror as Regional Advisor for Israel and the Middle East. This appointment reinforces Beacon’s commitment to building strategic capabilities across international innovation corridors and advancing our cross-border transaction platform with high-level local expertise.
Yossi Ben-Dror is a seasoned legal advisor with nearly four decades of experience representing multinational corporations, growth-stage ventures, and public institutions in complex, high-value commercial transactions. He began his career at Arnon & Co. in Tel Aviv and later practiced in the Corporate and International departments at WilmerHale in the United States before founding Y. Ben-Dror Law Firm. Fluent in both Hebrew and English, Yossi is a graduate of the Faculty of Law, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and is admitted to the bar in Israel and New York.
Yossi’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, high-tech investment structures, joint ventures, strategic alliances, corporate finance, and ongoing corporate representation. He also brings extensive experience in litigation and alternative dispute resolution, including commercial arbitration and mediation, both locally and internationally. In addition to his legal work, Yossi serves in various leadership roles. These include board membership of the Israel-America Chamber of Commerce and of the Herzliya Development Company Ltd. Yossi is past Chairman of the Standards Committee, which includes oversight collaboration with the U.S. Government and Israeli Ministries, and past Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Middle East Commercial Center. He is a certified arbitrator and mediator with the Israel Center for Arbitration and the Israel Bar Association.
In his new role with Beacon Advisors, Yossi will lead initiatives that drive cross-border commercial opportunities between Israeli innovation sectors and Beacon’s global venture and M&A network. He will play a pivotal role in originating and structuring transactions spanning high-impact verticals such as defense technology, cyber, medtech, cleantech, artificial intelligence, and advanced manufacturing. He will also support clients across the Middle East region, particularly in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt, and Jordan, by activating institutional relationships and advising on legal, regulatory, and operational entry strategies.
Yossi’s appointment also renews a longstanding relationship with Beacon’s Managing Director, M. Will Fischtein, who stated, “Yossi and I first worked together more than 30 years ago. This appointment marks a powerful expansion of our capacity to support complex, cross-border mandates with local depth.”
Yossi will be deeply involved in supporting Beacon’s clients at every stage of the deal cycle, from origination and strategic positioning to due diligence and closing. His addition to the Beacon team solidifies the firm’s role as a trusted partner for institutions and innovators pursuing growth in and through the Middle East.
