With more than twenty years of experience spanning corporate finance, transaction advisory, valuations, legal practice, and operating leadership, he brings a multi-dimensional perspective to every engagement.
His background combines legal training, hands-on operational experience, and senior-level deal execution. This breadth enables him to assess businesses not only through a financial lens but through the practical realities of operations, risk, governance, and long-term strategic positioning. Clients rely on him for clarity in high-stakes situations where judgment, discretion, and precision matter.

His advisory approach is analytical and process driven, grounded in disciplined preparation, detailed financial scrutiny, and proactive risk management. At the same time, he brings pragmatic negotiation skills and creative problem solving to dynamic deal environments.
Clients value his ability to reduce complexity without oversimplifying, maintain competitive tension while preserving relationships, and focus relentlessly on value maximization and execution certainty.
Professional Background
Will began in senior operational leadership at a high-growth internet company in New York City, focused on supply chain and technology-enabled solutions. There, he developed a deep understanding of scalable business models, operational leverage, and performance metrics that drive enterprise value.
He subsequently practiced commercial litigation, advising on contractual disputes, transactional conflicts, and regulatory matters. This legal foundation continues to strengthen his approach to deal structuring, diligence management, and risk mitigation.
Will later served as Chief Executive Officer of Sunbelt Business Brokers in Toronto, where he managed the three largest territories in Canada. In this capacity, he built and led advisory teams, scaled brokerage operations, and refined transaction processes across a broad range of industries.
In parallel, he directed hospitality real estate development initiatives and oversaw asset and property management operations, gaining direct experience in capital allocation, operational performance improvement, and asset-level value creation.
At Beacon, Will serves as a senior dealmaker and Director of Business Development. His advisory focus includes:
- Sell side transaction strategy and execution
- Independent business valuations for exit planning and strategic decision making
- Corporate finance advisory aligned with ownership objectives
- Confidential marketing processes, buyer outreach, and negotiation strategy
Industry Leadership
Will has held leadership roles within professional associations, including Treasurer and Director of the International Business Brokers Association, Canada Chapter. In these capacities, he contributed to governance, professional standards, and the advancement of best practices within the intermediary community.
He regularly publishes commentary on valuation methodologies, market conditions, and exit-strategy considerations, supporting business owners and executives in making informed capital and transition decisions.
Client Focus
Will advises privately held companies across manufacturing, business services, technology, distribution, and real estate-related sectors. His clients are typically founder-led and closely held enterprises preparing for liquidity events, recapitalizations, or strategic transitions.
His mandate is consistent, maximize enterprise value, preserve strategic optionality, and ensure that transactions align with both the financial and personal objectives of ownership.
