Experience

Yossi Ben-Dror serves as the Regional Advisor for Israel and the Middle East at Beacon Advisors. With a legal career spanning more than 39 years, Yossi brings extensive experience in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, high-tech investment structuring, strategic alliances, joint ventures, and complex commercial transactions.

A graduate of the Faculty of Law, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Yossi is admitted to practice law in both Israel and New York. He began his legal journey at Arnon & Co. and later joined WilmerHale in the United States, where he practiced in the firm’s Corporate and International departments. He is the founder and managing partner of Y.Ben-Dror Law Firm, a boutique Tel Aviv-based firm representing local and international clients in corporate, commercial and international matters.

Yossi has worked with multinational corporations, institutional investors, high-growth startups, and public sector entities. He is highly regarded for his nuanced understanding of Israeli and regional corporate and commercial law and for his ability to bridge governance, legal, and cultural complexities between North American and Middle Eastern markets. He is fluent in both Hebrew and English.

In addition to his legal practice, Yossi actively participates in leadership roles across several institutions. He currently serves as a board member of the Israel-America Chamber of Commerce and on the board of the Herzliya Development Company Ltd. Yossi is past Chairman of the Standards Committee, which includes oversight collaboration with the U.S. Government and Israeli Ministries, and Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Middle East Commercial Center. He is a certified arbitrator and mediator with the Israel Center for Arbitration and the Israel Bar Association.

As Regional Advisor, Yossi supports Beacon clients across a wide range of sectors and jurisdictions. His work includes originating and structuring strategic mandates, guiding transactions through complex legal frameworks, and activating institutional relationships across Israel and other countries in the Middle East including , UAE, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt, and Jordan. His insight and leadership significantly enhance Beacon’s presence and effectiveness in the region.
