Experience
Ran brings over 15 years of experience as a food entrepreneur, dealmaker, fundraiser and lawyer. He is the CEO of Mama Earth, Ontario’s largest independent online grocer, which delivers to over 10,000 people weekly. Ran led the consolidation of the province’s online grocery sector, including leading all structuring and debt and equity fundraising efforts.
Earlier in his career, Ran practiced investment law at Sidley Austin LLP New York City office for several years. He remains an active member of the New York bar. He earned his JD from the University of Toronto, a Masters from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a BBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University. Ran serves on the boards of the Greenbelt Foundation (Secretary) and Shoresh (Chair).
