Toronto, Ontario, August 2, 2018 – Beacon Corporation (“Beacon”) is pleased to announce the completion of the sale of Northgate Rent-All Inc. (“Northgate Rent-All”) to a Private Buyer (“Buyer”). Beacon acted as an exclusive sell-side advisor for Northgate Rent-All and facilitated the process of valuation, confidential marketing, buyer screening, offer and deal term negotiations, and due diligence.
Northgate Rent-All, established in mid-1970s, is one of the leading full-service rental company’s within Southwestern Ontario. The business offers over 400+ rental items, including party, construction and outdoor event-related equipment to residential and commercial users.
Beacon ran an extensive sales process, vetting potential acquirers with interest in the equipment rental business; a busy seasonal, retail and mechanical operation located outside of the GTA. Beacon’s deal team was involved in each step of the transaction and facilitated the ultimate outcome for Northgate Rent-All. Beacon’s sales agent identified an ideal buyer, also committed to the Brantford community and after several rounds of negotiations and due diligence, the deal was completed in July 2018.
