Michael Paterson

Michael joins Beacon from Robbinex where he spent four years as a business intermediary working on M&A transactions in the Golden Triangle region of Ontario. Prior to that, he spent six years in the financial services industry specializing in succession planning for owners of small and mid-sized businesses. Michael earned an MBA at Dalhousie University and an MA at the University of Guelph with a focus on finance and investment policy, respectively. In his free time, Michael serves on the Executive Committee of Guelph’s CIBC Run for the Cure and is an active participant in several other charities and many local sporting events.
